Well to be honest Valentino was always too classic for my tastes, but the spring/summer 2016 collection, just drives me crazy.
It's the most beautiful ode to Africa with all the respect that deserves.
A collection were folk meets luxury. Were bohemian comes sexy. Were african tribals become wearable in the most impressive way.
The designers wanted to show how the African's "imperfect purity" can become an essential feature of the 20th century avant-gardism.
How all that African traditional humbly elements, such like feathers, Masai style beads, batik prints and white terracotta, can become a work of art.
My ethnic-ish self got really excite with this collection. And it's for sure one of the most impressive collections of s/s16.
